UN1TY x Sarnia Hotels - Carbon Literacy Training

Two weeks ago, UN1TY were delighted to host a Carbon Literacy Training cohort from Sarnia Hotels. In two half day sessions, the group of 10 covered the science, causes and impacts of climate change, and channelled this knowledge into practical solutions and changes that can be made at an individual and organisational level. Completing this training meant that the whole cohort achieved the same understanding of the challenges we face, could together discuss the changes they would like to see implemented in their workplace, and left the training feeling empowered and motivated to make these changes happen. 

This is the real benefit of completing Carbon Literacy Training, particularly when a group attends from the same business - it is a vital opportunity for a company to focus on sustainability in their organisation, hear what employees in different teams would like to see, and start to put a plan in place to achieve this.
